This online catalogue is a meaningful way to support people across Otago during the festive season. Every gift you choose is a charitable donation that helps fund vital services through our Family Works and Enliven community programmes. From foodbank support to youth development and supporting older people, your generosity brings hope and practical help to those who need it most.
Each item in the catalogue represents a symbolic gift – a donation toward a specific area of need. No physical goods or services are exchanged. Instead, your contribution goes directly to where it can make the greatest impact.

How It Works
1. Choose a Gift for Otago
Browse the catalogue and select a gift that speaks to you. Whether it’s a donation to the foodbank or sponsoring a youth programme, every gift helps make Christmas brighter for someone in need.
2. Give a Card – Show the Gift
Download a beautifully designed card to share with your loved ones. It explains the incredible impact of the gift you’ve given in their honour – a thoughtful way to celebrate the season.
3. Spread the Word
If you're in Dunedin, pop into our Support Centre and jump into the festive Photo Booth to celebrate your gift! Bring your work mates, whānau, flatmates or friends.
Outside of Dunedin? Send us your photos and we’ll share them for you – spreading the joy far and wide.
What Your Donation Supports
Your donation helps fund a wide range of services, including:
- Social work for families and individuals
- Parenting and youth development programmes
- Foodbank
- Community support for older people
While we aim to allocate funds in line with the gift selected, Presbyterian Support Otago reserves the right to apply excess donations to areas of greatest need to ensure the most effective use of resources.
Tax Receipts
Presbyterian Support Otago is a registered charity under the Charities Act 2005 (Charity Registration Number: CC20878).
Donations of $5 or more are eligible for a tax credit under New Zealand law. A donation receipt will be issued via email or post, provided you supply your contact details at the time of donation.
